Suspension Freaks XL Gets Victory over Fear the Bird, Moves to Consolation Semifinals
Suspension Freaks XL benefited from 48.00 points from De'Von Achane (120 Rsh Yds, 70 Rec Yds, 1 TD) and 41.00 from Brian Thomas Jr. (132 Rec Yds, 1 TD), taking down Fear the Bird 194.00 to 169.00. Suspension Freaks XL goes to 1-2 this season against Fear the Bird, avenging a Week 12 heartbreaking loss (233.50 to 227.00) the last time the teams met. Fear the Bird was led by Joe Burrow with 53.00 points (252 Pas Yds, 3 TD) and Tony Pollard, who scored 18.00 (35 Rsh Yds, 1 2PT). Adding insult to injury, Fear the Bird received no points from Cam Little.
Dowdle had plenty of opportunities for Fear the Bird, but could only manage 51 total yards on 16 touches.
