With the production from Jayden Daniels playing an integral role, Dickers Nuts defeated First and Goal 142.85 to 120.15. The Washington QB heated up for 43.05 points in a 22.70-point triumph for Dickers Nuts. He passed for three touchdowns as part of his showcase performance (227 Pas Yds, 127 Rsh Yds, 3 TD/1 Int). With Hunter Henry delivering zero points for Dickers Nuts, the result might have been even worse.
First and Goal had one noteworthy player that missed out on opportunities. Despite being targeted seven times, Terry McLaurin could only reel in one catch.
With 33 touches this week for Saquon Barkley, it means that his touches have now increased in three consecutive games.
For the winners, a pair of players have been playoff studs : Mike Evans and Daniels. During the playoffs, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 66% and 50%, respectively. On the other hand, Dickers Nuts has a player heading in the opposite direction. Henry has fallen significantly short of his year-to-date average in the postseason by 31%. Despite the loss, First and Goal had several players performing their best in the playoffs, including Jake Elliott and Mark Andrews. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 13.50 and 14.30 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 79% and 35%. Conversely, the losers had a player who was sputtering under the brightest lights. Averaging 17.54 points on the season, Terry McLaurin mustered just 9.25 per game in the playoffs.
Dickers Nuts wrapped up the regular season in sixth place with a record of 6-8. Better than their record indicated, they ranked third in the league in points per game with 138.07. They played in a pair of previous postseason games this year on their trail to the title. In their last game, Dickers Nuts took down AngryEye, 170.50 to 120.30. The week before, they beat Sheik Yerbouti, 136.20 to 129.40. First and Goal concluded the regular season in first place with a record of 11-3. Their record was a bit misleading, as they ranked just fifth in the league in scoring average at 133.56 points per game. Following an opening-round playoff bye, First and Goal snuck by Scratch Me Because MYBALZICH, 153.00 to 150.45.
