Youngstown Mafia Picks Up Win Against Buenos Aires Blue Dogs to Get into Consolation Championship
Youngstown Mafia benefited from 20.00 points from Jaxon Smith-Njigba (95 Rec Yds, 1 TD) and 14.06 from C.J. Stroud (244 Pas Yds, 2 TD/2 Int) to beat Buenos Aires Blue Dogs 98.46 to 84.42. Youngstown Mafia took a 37.74-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. Youngstown Mafia exacted a bit of postseason revenge against Buenos Aires Blue Dogs with this victory. In the teams' last playoff matchup, Youngstown Mafia lost in the consolation quarterfinals in 2023. Bo Nix led Buenos Aires Blue Dogs with 21.02 points (263 Pas Yds, 25 Rsh Yds, 2 TD) while Ja'Marr Chase racked up 19.40 (97 Rec Yds, 1 TD). It could have gone the other way had Buenos Aires Blue Dogs not had several starters score zero points.
