Final Score 126.65 | 84.35 |
The QuadFathers pummeled Heather from the Land 126.65 to 84.35 while putting up the second-highest point total in the league this week. The QuadFathers exacted a bit of postseason revenge against Heather from the Land with this victory. In the teams' last playoff matchup, The QuadFathers lost in the semifinals in 2023. Heather from the Land was led by C.J. Stroud with 16.95 points (131 Pas Yds, 2 TD) and Kyren Williams, who scored 16.20 (108 Rsh Yds).
Each squad had a important player that missed out on opportunities. On The QuadFathers, Jauan Jennings was only able to make two catches, despite being targeted nine times. For Heather from the Land, Tyreek Hill also only caught two balls (on seven targets). A spot where Heather from the Land made a blunder is quarterback. Jared Goff could have started in place of Stroud, and that point difference would've ultimately changed the outcome.
With 14 targets this week for Brian Thomas Jr., it means that his targets have now increased in four consecutive games.
For the victorious side, several players have been playing their best at the right time, including the Denver Broncos DEF and Jr. Over the past month, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 58% and 47%, respectively. Conversely, The QuadFathers has a player trending in the wrong direction. Cade Otton has substantially underperformed his year-to-date average recently. Despite the playoff loss, Isaac Guerendo was playing well during the stretch run for Heather from the Land. Over the last four games, he has averaged 11.72 points, exceeding his year-to-date number by 123%.
Behind a strong second half, The QuadFathers entered the playoffs as the No. 3 seed. They advance to the semifinals where they go up against No. 2-seeded Turd Ferg, who is coming off a bye week. These teams last met in Week 7, with The QuadFathers winning, 149.90 to 119.15. Heather from the Land wrapped up the regular season in sixth place with a record of 7-7. When considering points per game, they ranked slightly better (fourth with 120.86). Heather from the Land was one-and-done this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
Williams had 29 carries for a season-high 108 yards.
By going 18-26 for 131 yards and two TDs, Stroud has now thrown for less than 250 yards in each of his last three games. He has not topped 250 yards through the air since Week 11 versus the Dallas Cowboys, when he put up 257.
Boswell went 2-2 on field goal attempts this week, and has now made two field goals in each of his last two games.
Moore made a catch every time he was targeted and finished with eight receptions for 46 yards to score 15.00 points.
It has now been four weeks in a row that the Ravens Defense has missed their projections. They scored 5.00 points against a projected 6.68 this week.
It has now been four weeks in a row that Ferguson has missed his projections. He scored 4.30 points against a projected 8.95 this week.
