      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Led by a Big Game from Joe Burrow, WeekendWarriorLA Claims League Consolation Championship

The production of Joe Burrow paved the way, as WeekendWarriorLA defeated SportslockedAZ 132.20 to 81.90. Burrow went off for 53.10 points in a 50.30-point triumph for WeekendWarriorLA. He passed for 412 yards as part of his big outing (412 Pas Yds, 25 Rsh Yds, 3 Pas TD, 1 Rsh TD). He also recorded the highest point total in the league this week. Both sides missed scoring opportunities as WeekendWarriorLA had three starters turn in zero points and SportslockedAZ also had three.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. and De'Von Achane had plenty of chances for SportslockedAZ, but they logged just 111 total yards on 34 combined touches between them.

In addition to the fantasy W, WeekendWarriorLA was savvy enough to select winners in real life, as well. Among all of their starters, Ka'imi Fairbairn was the only one that suited up on a losing NFL team in Week 17. Additionally, with 33 touches this week for Saquon Barkley, it means that his touches have now increased in three consecutive games.

WeekendWarriorLA has a few players cooling off at an inopportune time, including David Montgomery and Fairbairn. Since the playoffs have begun, that duo has dropped 100% and 65% below their respective season-to-date scoring averages.

WeekendWarriorLA concluded the regular season in ninth place with a record of 4-10. In terms of scoring average, they ranked slightly better (eighth with 117.20). In their only other postseason game on their trek to a consolation title, WeekendWarriorLA took down Mr C, 124.00 to 100.20. SportslockedAZ ended the regular season in seventh place with a record of 6-8. When considering points per game, they ranked slightly better (sixth with 130.63). In their only other postseason game of the season, SportslockedAZ beat The Fighting Amish, 139.95 to 24.00.
