Behind a Sizzling Showing from Jayden Daniels, BeerNutz Gets to Championship
The production of Jayden Daniels made a decisive impact, as BeerNutz picked up a win against Surprise Bears 209.60 to 164.55. In the 45.05-point victory for BeerNutz, Daniels heated up for 49.00 points. He passed for five touchdowns as part of his huge game (258 Pas Yds, 81 Rsh Yds, 5 TD/2 Int). He also recorded the second-highest point total in the league this week. With 209.60 points, BeerNutz had the second-highest total in the league this season. BeerNutz got the best of Surprise Bears again in the playoffs. In the teams' previous postseason tilt, BeerNutz reigned supreme in the quarterfinals in 2023.
Robinson had plenty of opportunities for Surprise Bears, but could only manage 41 total yards on 12 touches.
To go along with the fantasy victory, BeerNutz was savvy enough to pick winners in real life, as well. Among all of their starters, Brian Thomas Jr. is the only one that didn't suit up on a winning NFL team this past week.
For the victors, a few players have been late-season stars, most notably the Kansas City Chiefs DEF and Jr. During the playoffs, that duo has bettered their season scoring averages by 126% and 116%, respectively. On the other hand, BeerNutz has a player heading in the opposite direction. Jakobi Meyers has fallen well beneath his year-to-date average in the postseason by 41%. Despite the loss, Surprise Bears had a couple of players peaking for the postseason: Justin Jefferson and Pat Freiermuth.
