      Around The League
      • Mamba played their cards right this week with the league's top-scoring RB (Barkley with 32.90 points) and the top-scoring WR (Smith-Njigba with 37.00).
      • No surprise here: teams have won 66.7% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (4-2 overall).
      • South Bronx Bombers is on a four-game winning streak.
      • Mamba is on a three-game winning streak.
      • Unfortunately, Prognostradamus fell short of their projected score for the third straight week.
      • Matthew probably wishes they had started Garrett Wilson. The 30.00 points he scored would have represented the fourth-highest individual score this week.
      • Teams that started a top-5 scoring RB went 2-2 overall this week.
      • Teams have won only 37.5% of the time this season (6-10) when they fail to throw a Pass TD.

      Week 9 Recap: Tuesday Edition

With Their Stars Coming Up Big, Mamba Tramples Dallas214

Fueled by the triple threat of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Saquon Barkley, and De'Von Achane, Mamba dismantled Dallas214 187.72 to 119.42. That threesome combined to tally 102.00 points, significantly more than the top scorers from Dallas214 (Kareem Hunt, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Jakobi Meyers), who totaled 55.80 points. Smith-Njigba racked up 180 yards, accumulating 37.00 points (180 Rec Yds, 2 TD). Meanwhile, Barkley put up 159 rushing yards (32.90 points) and Achane scored two touchdowns (32.10 points). Smith-Njigba also recorded the fifth-highest point total in the league this season, with Barkley tallying the second-highest point total in the league this week. Mamba had the best score in the league this year, as well as the biggest margin of victory. Mamba (4-5, 1,080.60 points) climbs into fifth place, while Dallas214 (2-7, 1,037.50 points) stays in ninth place.

Mamba was on point in the backfield, as they started two of the league's top-three overall RBs this week. Since Smith-Njigba was the high scorer for Mamba, it means that a different player has now led the team in each of the past six weeks. With 15.40 points, DK Metcalf paced the squad in Week 4, while Zay Flowers (19.00 points) was team-leader in Week 5 and Brock Purdy (24.10 points) led the way in Week 6. Saquon Barkley (26.70 points) was tops in Week 7 and De'Von Achane (26.70 points) led in Week 8.

Mamba will face South Bronx Bombers (7-2, 1,127.40) next week. Dallas214 takes on Daniel (6-3, 1,162.76), who has averaged a solid 129.20 points this season.
