Insomniac goes to 1-2 this season against Kanihopps, avenging a Week 15 loss (143.90 to 126.14) the last time the teams met. Kanihopps was led by Chuba Hubbard with 32.50 points (152 Rsh Yds, 2 TD) and A.J. Brown, who scored 23.70 (97 Rec Yds, 1 TD).
It wasn't all bad news for Kanihopps, as they did field a team of real-life winners. Every starter except Brown suited up on an NFL team that won this week.
For the victors, several players have been hitting their strides at the right time, including Jalen McMillan and the Atlanta Falcons DEF. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has bettered their season scoring averages by 181% and 176%, respectively. Conversely, Insomniac has a player heading in the opposite direction. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 15.45 and 17.15 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 41% and 33%.
Next week, the league championship will be decided when Insomniac battles No. 4-seeded OIC U NV D W. Insomniac has a 1-1 record against OIC U NV D W this season. Kanihopps concluded the regular season with a record of 9-6, good for third place. From a points per game perspective, they ranked slightly worse (fourth with 126.88). Henry had 24 carries for 162 yards, the first time he's rushed for 150 yards since he had 169 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7.
This week was the third time this season Kittle has eclipsed 100 yards receiving, as he put up eight catches for 106 yards.
The best score by a QB this week was 34.42 points by Daniels (258 Pas Yds, 81 Rsh Yds, 5 TD/2 Int).
McMillan made five catches for 57 yards and a TD, giving him at least 50 yards and a touchdown in each of his last three games.
