      Week 11 Recap: Tuesday Edition

bucbelvr Comes Back to Beat rikkun, Yet to Lose in Series

In a shootout between the two highest-scoring teams of the week, bucbelvr came back to defeat rikkun 204.78 to 164.28. This is the most a team has scored this season without getting a victory. The loss drops rikkun to 3-8 (8th place) and extends their losing streak to three. bucbelvr (6-5) has the highest points per game average at 140.04. However, the combined points was unexpected given that bucbelvr was only projected to score 122.45 points and rikkun was expected to score 122.77 points. Even with a 114.01 points per game average, which ranks sixth in the league, rikkun has a 3-8 record. Amon-Ra St. Brown (161 Rec Yds, 2 TD) put up the second-highest score of the week (38.70) and Tee Higgins scored 29.80 points to lead bucbelvr. rikkun was led by Brock Bowers (126 Rec Yds, 1 TD), who accumulated 31.30 points, and Chris Boswell, who finished with 24.00. That pair topped their scoring projections by 146.1% and 197.4%, respectively. Although emerging victorious this time, bucbelvr has been on the losing end of a similar high-scoring matchup once before, suffering a tough loss against KayCee Chiefs in Week 10, 144.28 to 142.80.

Jones had plenty of opportunities for rikkun, but could only manage 43 total yards on 16 touches.

bucbelvr was on point with their wideouts, as they started two of the league's top-10 overall WRs this week (including St. Brown, who was second-best overall). Since St. Brown was the top point-getter for bucbelvr, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 25.50 points, Josh Jacobs paced the squad in Week 8, while Chase Brown (26.70 points) was tops in Week 9 and Lamar Jackson (32.90 points) in Week 10.

Next week, bucbelvr will meet Working on my way up (6-5, 1,160.24). rikkun takes on first-place Relentless Assassin (9-2, 1,405.62).
