Gerardo Lights Up The Firefly Off-Fielders, Series Tied at One Game Apiece
Gerardo got 25.30 points from Trey McBride (133 Rec Yds) and 24.90 from Jahmyr Gibbs (90 Rsh Yds, 2 TD) to crush The Firefly Off-Fielders 124.42 to 32.50. Gerardo took a 7.00-point lead on Thursday and maintained an advantage throughout the matchup. Gerardo goes to 1-1 this season against The Firefly Off-Fielders, avenging a Week 3 loss (142.78 to 113.06) the last time the teams met. To make matters worse, The Firefly Off-Fielders had four starters put up zeroes. Gerardo (8-4, 1,520.46 points) remains in second place and The Firefly Off-Fielders (4-8, 1,234.70 points) stays in seventh place.
For Gerardo, the 49ers Defense wasn't just the lone D to earn a negative score; they represented the only fantasy starter throughout the whole league in the red. Taylor had plenty of looks for The Firefly Off-Fielders, but he logged only 35 total yards on 11 touches.
While Joe Burrow led Gerardo last week with 29.04 points, McBride paved the way this week with 25.30.
