Around The League
  • CHUCKMON TARGARYEN is on a 16-game winning streak.
  • Fineaglers earned the win this week despite not starting a top-15 scoring QB.
  • SHAGUAR has now increased their score each of the past three weeks.
  • No surprise here: teams have won 61.5% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (8-5 overall).
  • Gerardo started the league's top-scoring QB (Burrow with 36.98 points) and the top-scoring TE (McBride with 30.30) this week.
  • Centurions UK is on a three-game winning streak.
  • The Goat probably wishes they had started Baker Mayfield. The 34.56 points he scored would have represented the fourth-highest individual score this week.
  • Teams have won only 24.1% of the time this season (7-22) when they fail to throw a Pass TD.

Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Gerardo Pounds RedWolves and Stays Undefeated in the Series

Gerardo improves to 3-0 versus RedWolves this season after yet another win, this time by a final score of 148.98 to 88.84. They go to 11-6, while RedWolves drops to 8-9. Joe Burrow passed for 412 yards and was the team leader this week, grabbing 36.98 points for Gerardo. Burrow has been an outstanding late-round pick for Gerardo, contributing a surprising 22.49 points per game. In three matchups with RedWolves, Gerardo has a 43.34-point average margin of victory.

RedWolves had one noteworthy player who wasn't fully in tune with his QB. Despite being targeted seven times, Terry McLaurin could only reel in one catch.

For the winning side, a few players have been heating up in the postseason, including Adam Thielen and Jerome Ford. During the playoffs, that duo has bettered their season scoring averages by 218% and 50%, respectively. On the other hand, Gerardo has several players heading in the opposite direction. The Houston Texans DEF and Khalil Shakir have both fallen well beneath their year-to-date averages during the postseason. Despite the loss, RedWolves had several players performing their best in the playoffs, most notably the Baltimore Ravens DEF and Justin Herbert. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 15.50 and 23.30 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 174% and 50%. Conversely, the losers had a few players who struggled in the playoff spotlight, most notably Cooper Kupp and Brian Robinson.
