Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

SUPERTEEN Rips Apart Andrew to Get Shot at Championship

SUPERTEEN remains undefeated against Andrew this season after yet another win, this time by a final score of 175.94 to 110.58. They go to 13-3, while Andrew drops to 9-7. Keenan Allen (141 Rec Yds, 1 TD) led the way this week, putting up 29.10 points. This was higher than the 22.40 points he got the last time these teams played. SUPERTEEN now has a 27.19-point average margin of victory over Andrew in three matchups.

Unfortunately for Andrew, the 49ers Defense wasn't just the lone defense to earn a negative score; they represented the only fantasy starter throughout the whole league in negative territory. Robinson had several chances for Andrew, but could manage just 41 total yards on 12 touches.

It wasn't all bad news for Andrew, as they did field a squad of real-life winners. Every starter except the San Francisco 49ers DEF took part in a winning effort in Week 16.

For the winning team, a pair of players have been getting hot at the right time: the Atlanta Falcons DEF and Allen. Over the past four games, that duo has exceeded their season scoring averages by 176% and 93%, respectively. Andrew had a player who was cooling off at the wrong time. Harrison Butker has fallen short of his yearly average by 49% over the past month.

SUPERTEEN steamrolled into the playoffs following a consistently strong regular season. Next week, the league championship will be decided when SUPERTEEN faces No. 3-seeded Ross. SUPERTEEN is winless against Ross in two matchups this season, with their most recent loss coming in Week 12. Andrew finished the regular season in fourth place with a record of 9-6. Perhaps benefiting from some good fortune, they ranked just eighth in the league in scoring average at 112.30 points per game. Andrew was one-and-done this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
