      Around The League
      • Ross continues defying the pundits, and has beaten their projected score seven weeks in a row.
      • Game Of Mahomes won this week, even without starting a top-15 scoring QB.
      • Game Of Mahomes has now beaten their projected score four weeks in a row.
      • Unfortunately, Andrew fell short of their projected score for the sixth straight week.
      • No surprise here: teams have won 76.9% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (10-3 overall).
      • RobinhosGeeMen43 unfortunately stashed Tee Higgins on their bench. The 40.10 points would have represented the highest individual amount in the league this week.
      • SUPERTEEN is on a four-game winning streak.
      • PurpleButcher has now decreased their score each of the past three weeks.

      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Lucerne Deathclaws Snatches One from Andrew, Evens Up the Series

Down 7.36 on Monday night, Lucerne Deathclaws came back, defeating Andrew 114.32 to 105.98. Lucerne Deathclaws got 29.42 points from Lamar Jackson (168 Pas Yds, 87 Rsh Yds, 2 Pas TD, 1 Rsh TD) and 24.80 from Bijan Robinson (90 Rsh Yds, 2 TD). This was a back-and-forth battle that saw the lead change hands four times, with the largest lead being 25.16 points after Thursday. Lucerne Deathclaws gets revenge for a Week 9 loss (155.94 to 114.60) and improves to 1-1 this season against Andrew. Joe Burrow racked up the second-highest score of the league this week with 36.98 points (412 Pas Yds, 25 Rsh Yds, 3 Pas TD, 1 Rsh TD) for Andrew. The gap could have been wider as Lucerne Deathclaws had a starter score zero points (Cole Kmet).

Achane had plenty of opportunities for Andrew, but could only manage 38 total yards on 12 touches.

For the winners, a few players have been late-season stars, including Jake Elliott and the Buffalo Bills DEF. During the playoffs, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 84% and 73%, respectively. On the other hand, Lucerne Deathclaws has several players trending in the wrong direction. Cooper Kupp and Joe Mixon have both fallen well beneath their year-to-date averages during the postseason. Despite the loss, Andrew also had a pair of players performing their best in the playoffs: Burrow and Travis Kelce. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 29.48 and 15.20 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 37% and 32%. Conversely, the losers had a couple of players who struggled in the playoff spotlight: Jayden Reed and Brian Robinson.
