With the two-man wrecking crew of Malik Nabers and Kyren Williams leading the way, Maybe Next Time defeated Only One Perfect Season 72 109.68 to 91.24. That tandem combined to score 43.90 points, significantly outperforming Ka'imi Fairbairn and Jordan Mason (36.40 combined points), the top two on Only One Perfect Season 72. Nabers (127 Rec Yds, 1 TD) delivered 28.70 points, while Williams (25 Rsh Yds, 27 Rec Yds, 1 TD) also chipped in 15.20 for the victors. Maybe Next Time took a 6.60-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. Both sides fell short of hitting their projections, but Maybe Next Time scored 97.2% of a projected 112.87 points to pick up the win. Maybe Next Time (1-1, 228.16 points) moves into fifth place and Only One Perfect Season 72 (0-2, 204.98 points) goes to ninth place.
