Around The League
  • Cali Cadre continues defying the pundits, and has beaten their projected score seven weeks in a row.
  • AKo1904 has now beaten their projected score three weeks in a row.
  • Lee has now beaten their projected score three weeks in a row.
  • AKo1904 couldn't beat Winnow despite starting the league's top-scoring QB (Burrow with 36.98 points) and the top-scoring RB (Taylor with 27.60) this week.
  • No surprise here: teams have won 91.7% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (11-1 overall).
  • Maybe Next Time probably wishes they had started Malik Nabers. The 36.10 points he scored would have represented the third-highest individual score this week.
  • Michael has now decreased their score each of the past three weeks.
  • Teams that had a top-5 scoring RB this week only went 1-2 overall.

Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Cali Cadre Gets Victory over Lee and Remains Unbeaten in Head-to-Head Play

Cali Cadre remains undefeated against Lee this season after yet another win, this time by a final score of 155.88 to 138.04. They go to 11-6, while Lee drops to 9-8. Mike Evans (97 Rec Yds, 2 TD) put up 29.70 points, which was higher than his 25.80 points in the last matchup with Lee. In three matchups with Lee, Cali Cadre has a 19.47-point average margin of victory.

There was one starter on Lee that let some chances slip away. Even though George Pickens saw a total of seven targets, he reeled in just three catches.

It wasn't all bad news for Lee, as they did put together a team of real-life winners. Every starter except George Pickens suited up for an NFL team that won this past week.

For the victorious side, several players have been late-season stars, most notably Evans and Jerome Ford. During the playoffs, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 62% and 50%, respectively. Despite the loss, Lee had a few players performing their best in the playoffs, including T.J. Hockenson and Bucky Irving. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 8.25 and 20.60 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 72% and 51%. Conversely, the losers had a pair of players who struggled in the playoff spotlight: Pickens and Khalil Shakir.
