      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Jefferson Wilson Gets Win Against Harrison, Moves on to Consolation Championship

Jefferson Wilson beat Harrison 104.24 to 95.96 for their second win in as many head-to-head matchups. Their overall record goes to 8-8, while Harrison drops to 7-9. Justin Jefferson scored two touchdowns and was the key difference this week, picking up 36.40 points for Jefferson Wilson. Following the exceptional performance, Jefferson is now a top-10 fantasy player this season, contributing 19.46 points per game.

Pacheco had plenty of opportunities for Harrison, but could only manage 26 total yards on 10 touches. One position where Harrison really made a regrettable choice is quarterback. Baker Mayfield could have started in place of Josh Allen, and that point difference would have been enough to earn the win.

For the winners, two players have been peaking at the right time: Gus Edwards and Jefferson. Over the past month, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 189% and 45%, respectively. On the other hand, Jefferson Wilson has a player trending in the wrong direction. Kyle Pitts has fallen significantly short of his year-to-date average recently. Despite the loss, Harrison had a couple of players peaking for the postseason: Jordan Addison and Allen. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 19.12 and 33.19 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 50% and 35%.

Next week, the league consolation championship will be decided when Jefferson Wilson goes up against No. 4-seeded TERRY. These teams last met in Week 7, with Jefferson Wilson winning, 94.64 to 90.06. Harrison finished the regular season in sixth place with a record of 7-8. In terms of scoring average, they ranked slightly better (fourth with 126.15). Harrison was bounced early this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
