      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

TUSKS Tops Lisa, Secures Spot in Consolation Championship

Lisa could not get off the starting blocks this week and lost to TUSKS 110.94 to 76.82. TUSKS gets revenge for a Week 13 loss (140.74 to 127.92) and improves to 2-1 this season against Lisa. This is the third straight week Lisa has scored less than their previous week's point total. They got 112.40 points two weeks ago, 90.08 last week, and 76.82 points this week. Adding insult to injury, Lisa received no points from Alvin Kamara.

For the victorious side, a few players have been peaking at the right time, most notably Jerome Ford and Mike Evans. Over the past month, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 87% and 65%, respectively. On the other hand, TUSKS has a player moving in the wrong direction. Breece Hall has fallen well beneath his year-to-date average recently.

Next week, the league consolation championship will be decided when TUSKS matches up against top-seeded Big phineas. These teams most recently clashed in Week 7, with Big phineas winning, 130.40 to 119.66. Lisa ended the regular season with a record of 7-8, good for seventh place. When considering points per game, they ranked slightly worse (eighth with 119.87). Lisa was bounced early this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
