Final Score 146.62 | 161.04 |
In an epic battle between this week's two highest-scoring teams, Harlem came back to beat Lisa 161.04 to 146.62. Only one team scored more points than Lisa in a game this season and lost. Lisa falls to 4-5 (7th place) and ends a three-game winning streak. Harlem (6-3) is in second place and has the second-highest points per game average at 123.91. However, the scoring output from Harlem was a bit surprising given that they were only expected to score 118.86 points. Lisa scored 125.2% of their projected 117.14. Zay Flowers (127 Rec Yds, 2 TD) put up 29.70 points and DeAndre Hopkins (86 Rec Yds, 2 TD) scored 28.60 points, exceeding their projections by 116.3% and 160.5%, respectively. Garrett Wilson (90 Rec Yds, 2 TD) amassed 30.00 points to score 103.7% more than projected (14.73) for Lisa. This is the second tough loss this season for Lisa. Their last one was to Big phineas in Week 1, 148.96 to 148.52.
Further evaluating the matchup, Lisa should place the blame on their underperforming trio, Marvin Harrison Jr., Sam LaPorta, and Joe Mixon. Those three were projected to combine for 39.41 points, but wound up with 24.80, and that difference was all Harlem needed to earn the win.
Harlem was ahead of the curve with their wideouts, as they started two of the league's top-10 overall WRs this week. While Bijan Robinson led Harlem with 23.60 points in Week 8, Flowers paced the squad this week with 29.70.
Harlem will face Natalie (6-3, 1,094.46) next week. Lisa takes on Big phineas (5-4, 1,099.38).
Kamara had 29 carries for a season-high 155 yards.
Mixon rushed for 106 yards and a TD, giving him at least 100 rushing yards and a touchdown in each of his last four games.
Flowers made five catches for 127 yards and two TDs, giving him at least 100 receiving yards in each of his last two games.
Smith went 21-34 for 363 yards and three TDs, the first time he's thrown for 350 yards since he had 395 against the Detroit Lions in Week 4.
Henry had 23 carries for 106 yards and two TDs, giving him a rushing touchdown in each of his last two games.
With 12.00 points, Bass tallied the third-highest score for a K this week.
