      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

lilbetillo Rallies to Beat SKOL, Nabs League Championship

lilbetillo beat SKOL 176.38 to 132.10 to improve their season record to 3-0 against them. They improve to 12-5, while SKOL drops to 9-8. Joe Burrow passed for 412 yards and led the way this week, getting 36.98 points for lilbetillo. Burrow continues to be a marvelous late-round pickup for lilbetillo, contributing a surprising 22.49 points per game. This is the largest winning margin for lilbetillo in three head-to-head matchups. They beat SKOL 120.46 to 110.04 in Week 13 and again 112.78 to 107.00 in Week 4.

To go along with the fantasy victory, lilbetillo was savvy enough to pick winners in real football, as well. Among all of their starters, Davante Adams is the only one that played on a losing NFL team this past week.

For the winners, a few players have been late-season stars, including the Buffalo Bills DEF and Sam LaPorta. During the playoffs, that duo has bettered their season scoring averages by 73% and 72%, respectively. Despite the loss, SKOL had several players performing their best in the playoffs, most notably Brian Thomas Jr. and Patrick Mahomes. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 26.05 and 24.85 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 61% and 45%. Conversely, the losers had a player who was sputtering under the brightest lights. Averaging 15.39 points on the season, Joe Mixon mustered just 7.00 per game in the playoffs.

lilbetillo wrapped up the regular season in second place with a record of 10-5. In terms of scoring average, they ranked slightly better (first with 135.78). In their only other postseason game on their trail to the title, lilbetillo defeated maxifootball, 162.68 to 126.18. They had the league's best average scoring margin this season, outpacing opponents by 22.42 points per game. SKOL concluded the regular season in fourth place with a record of 8-7. With a scoring average of 118.81, they also placed sixth in the league in that metric. In their only other postseason game of the season, SKOL took down Football Fanatic, 144.70 to 126.86.
