Hannah Creeps Past Detroitfan1978, Nabs League Championship
A primetime comeback on Monday Night Football (119.82 points, 82% of their total score) wasn't meant to be for Detroitfan1978, as Hannah earned the 146.42 to 146.02 victory. The late-match efforts were a little unexpected, considering their original Monday projection was only 87.52 points. Hannah was led by Trey McBride, who contributed 30.30 points in the tight matchup (123 Rec Yds, 1 TD). The 0.40-point win represented the second-tightest in the league this year, as well.
For the winners, a couple of players have been late-season stars : Justin Jefferson and McBride. During the playoffs, that duo has bettered their season scoring averages by 38% and 32%, respectively. Conversely, Hannah has a player trending the opposite way. Rachaad White has substantially underperformed his year-to-date average in the postseason by 41%. Despite the loss, Detroitfan1978 had a few players performing their best in the playoffs, including Jameson Williams and the Kansas City Chiefs DEF.
