      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

      Silver Sack Attack Beats Walter

Silver Sack Attack put up the highest score of the week and got past Walter 163.58 to 129.08. Silver Sack Attack took a 9.70-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. Silver Sack Attack goes to 1-2 this season against Walter, avenging a Week 14 loss (154.72 to 124.08) the last time the teams met. Walter was led by Jayden Daniels with 31.78 points (227 Pas Yds, 127 Rsh Yds, 3 TD/1 Int) and Puka Nacua, who scored 22.90 (129 Rec Yds).

Achane had plenty of opportunities for Walter, but could only manage 38 total yards on 12 touches.

For the winning team, a few players have been heating up in the postseason, most notably Jonathan Taylor and Mike Evans. During the playoffs, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 163% and 62%, respectively. On the other hand, Silver Sack Attack has a couple of players trending in the wrong direction. The Denver Broncos DEF and Josh Allen have both fallen well beneath their year-to-date averages during the postseason. Despite the loss, Walter also had several players performing their best in the playoffs, including the Philadelphia Eagles DEF and Daniels. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 13.00 and 33.10 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 82% and 55%. Conversely, the losers had a player who was sputtering under the brightest lights. Averaging 12.69 points on the season, Jayden Reed mustered just 6.35 per game in the playoffs.
