Week 12 Recap: Tuesday Edition
CPFan Waxes DC4L, Makes It Four in a Row
CPFan remains undefeated in two matchups against DC4L after another beating, this time by a final score of 108.16 to 35.52. They move to 8-4, while DC4L slips to 1-11. CPFan does better than usual when they face DC4L, who they now have an 81.23-point average margin of victory against. In fact, this particular blowout ranks eighth overall in the league this season. Tony Pollard (119 Rsh Yds, 1 TD) did the most damage this week, putting up 21.90 points. Pollard looks to be one of the best late-round picks for CPFan, averaging 14.07 points per game. To make matters worse, DC4L had several starters score zero points.
Along with being the one defense to post a negative score, the San Francisco 49ers DEF (on DC4L) represented the only starter in the whole league in negative territory. Joe Mixon had plenty of looks for CPFan, but posted just 45 total yards on 19 touches.
Since Pollard was the high scorer for CPFan, it means that a different player has now led the team in each of the last six weeks. With 22.10 points, Brian Thomas Jr. paced the squad in Week 7, while Travis Kelce (25.00 points) was team-leader in Week 8 and Geno Smith (22.12 points) led the way in Week 9. Ja'Marr Chase (55.40 points) was tops in Week 10 and Joe Mixon (35.30 points) led last week.
In Week 13, CPFan will match up against Vrk68 (7-5, 1,308.70). DC4L gets Miller Time (7-5, 1,397.66).
