Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Phat Boy Beats Miller Time, Moves on to Championship

Phat Boy stays undefeated in two matchups against Miller Time with a 175.28 to 147.24 victory. Their overall record goes to 14-2, while Miller Time falls to 10-6. Justin Jefferson scored two touchdowns and was the difference this week, garnering 36.40 points for Phat Boy. Following the exceptional performance, Jefferson is now a top-10 fantasy player this season, averaging 19.46 points per game.

In addition to the fantasy W, Phat Boy was savvy enough to choose winners in real-life football, as well. Among all of their starters, Mike Evans is the only one that played on a losing NFL team in Week 16.

For the winners, a couple of players have been playing their best at the right time: the Tampa Bay WR and Jefferson. Over the past four games, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 65% and 45%, respectively. Despite the loss, Miller Time had two players peaking for the postseason: Jerome Ford and the Kansas City Chiefs DEF. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 14.35 and 9.50 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 87% and 51%.

Phat Boy breezed into the playoffs following a dominating wire-to-wire regular season. Next week, the league championship will be decided when Phat Boy faces No. 2-seeded CPFan. These teams most recently battled in Week 8, with Phat Boy winning, 149.36 to 135.88. Miller Time wrapped up the regular season in fourth place with a record of 10-5. They also ranked fourth in the league with 118.75 points per game. Miller Time was bounced early this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
