THUNDERBIRDS Picks Up Victory over Rumbling Stumbling Bumbling, Moves to 5th Place
THUNDERBIRDS took down Rumbling Stumbling Bumbling, who labored to score points this week, 109.46 to 84.74. THUNDERBIRDS took a 6.10-point lead on Thursday and remained in front for the rest of the matchup. THUNDERBIRDS met their projections and scored 4.2% more than their projected 105.05 points, while Rumbling Stumbling Bumbling underwhelmed and scored only 72.5% of a projected 116.94. Adding insult to injury, Rumbling Stumbling Bumbling got zero points from both Deebo Samuel Sr. and Tank Dell. THUNDERBIRDS (4-3, 740.02 points) climbs into fifth place and Rumbling Stumbling Bumbling (3-4, 729.82 points) drops to seventh place.
Hubbard had plenty of opportunities for Rumbling Stumbling Bumbling, but could only manage 52 total yards on 17 touches.
Since Williams was the leading point-getter for THUNDERBIRDS, it means a different player has now topped the team in each of the past five weeks.
