      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Hooked On BoNix Creeps Past Heather, Heads to Consolation Championship

Hooked On BoNix took advantage of 25.00 points from the Atlanta Falcons DEF (7 PA, 2 TD, 3 Sack, 2 Int, 1 Fum) and 24.00 from Jaxon Smith-Njigba (95 Rec Yds, 1 TD) to edge Heather 140.18 to 138.20. Hooked On BoNix goes to 2-1 this season against Heather, avenging a Week 12 loss (116.36 to 106.20) the last time the teams met. Patrick Mahomes led Heather with 23.70 points (260 Pas Yds, 33 Rsh Yds, 1 Pas TD, 1 Rsh TD) while Josh Jacobs racked up 20.70 (69 Rsh Yds, 38 Rec Yds, 1 TD).

Isiah Pacheco had plenty of chances for Hooked On BoNix, but he logged just 26 total yards on 10 touches.

For the winning side, a few players have been hitting their strides at the right time, including the Atlanta D and Tee Higgins. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 176% and 41%, respectively. Despite the loss, Heather also had several players peaking for the postseason, most notably Puka Nacua and the Dallas Cowboys DEF. Kenneth Walker III has dipped below his yearly average by 57% over the past month.

Next week, the league consolation championship will be decided when Hooked On BoNix faces top-seeded Smash Mouth 1. Hooked On BoNix is undefeated against Smash Mouth 1 in two matchups this season, with their last win coming in Week 11. Heather wrapped up the regular season in seventh place with a record of 6-9. They also ranked seventh in the league with 111.60 points per game. Heather was sent home quickly this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
