Week 1 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Powered by Stars, Steel Curtain Gets Comeback over miguel

Carried by the triumvirate of Josh Allen, Joe Mixon, and Jake Moody, Steel Curtain snatched a win from miguel 103.08 to 85.46. That threesome combined to record 81.98 points, clearly outperforming the top scorers from miguel (C.J. Stroud, DeVonta Smith, and CeeDee Lamb), who totaled 47.66 points. Allen scored two touchdowns, registering 31.18 points (232 Pas Yds, 39 Rsh Yds, 2 Pas TD, 2 Rsh TD). Meanwhile, Mixon delivered 159 rushing yards (26.80 points) and Moody made six field goals (24.00 points). Also, Allen recorded the highest point total of the week at his position. Steel Curtain (1-0) kicks off the campaign in fifth place, while miguel (0-1) opens in ninth place.

D'Andre Swift had plenty of chances for Steel Curtain, but he logged just 30 total yards on 10 touches. One position where miguel is wishing they could get a do-over is wide receiver. Jameson Williams could have started in place of Drake London, and that point difference would've swayed the outcome.

In Week 2, Steel Curtain takes on Hit Me With Your Prescott (1-0, 165.62), while miguel goes up against Rolling with the rookie (1-0, 109.60).
