      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Simon Dirty Birds Comes Back to Edge Canton Zebra's, Will Play for Championship

Canton Zebra's isn't a guaranteed win for Simon Dirty Birds, whose a 4.21-point average margin of victory against Canton Zebra's is way less than their season-average margin of victory. James Conner (117 Rsh Yds, 49 Rec Yds, 1 TD) was the determining factor this week, garnering 26.60 points for Simon Dirty Birds. Conner has been a quality fifth-round pick for Simon Dirty Birds and has played like a top-tier running back.

In addition to the fantasy W, Simon Dirty Birds was savvy enough to pick winners in real life, as well. Among all of their starters, Conner is the only one whose NFL team lost in Week 16.

For the winners, the Arizona RB is getting hot at the right time. Over the past four fantasy matchups, he has surpassed his season scoring average by 41%. On the other hand, Simon Dirty Birds has a player moving in the wrong direction, as Cooper Kupp has fallen significantly short of his year-to-date average recently. Despite the loss, Canton Zebra's had a few players peaking for the postseason, most notably Adam Thielen and Mike Evans. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 17.12 and 21.38 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 176% and 65%.

Powered by a strong second half, Simon Dirty Birds entered the playoffs as the No. 2 seed. Next week, the league championship will be decided when Simon Dirty Birds faces No. 4-seeded Multiple Scoregasms. These teams last met in Week 7, with Simon Dirty Birds winning, 102.70 to 87.04. Canton Zebra's finished the regular season in third place with a record of 10-5. In terms of scoring average, they ranked slightly better (first with 131.90). Canton Zebra's was sent home quickly this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup. They delivered their fair share of epic beatdowns this year, as they recorded five blowout victories on the season.
