Team Fly High Squeaks By SWATSATL, Heads to Championship
Team Fly High took one from SWATSATL 164.94 to 162.48 while putting up the fifth-highest score of the season. Team Fly High goes to 1-2 this season against SWATSATL, avenging a Week 13 loss (154.08 to 138.40) the last time the teams met. Justin Jefferson brought in the second-highest score in the league this week with 36.40 points (144 Rec Yds, 2 TD) for SWATSATL.
It wasn't all bad news for SWATSATL, as they did field a squad of real-life winners. Every starter except the Pittsburgh Steelers DEF took part in a winning effort in Week 16.
For the winning side, a few players have been getting hot at the right time, most notably the Atlanta Falcons DEF and Tyjae Spears. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has bettered their season scoring averages by 176% and 133%, respectively. Despite the loss, SWATSATL also had a pair of players peaking for the postseason: Jefferson and Tee Higgins. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 26.45 and 15.45 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 45% and 41%. Conversely, the losers had a player who was fading down the stretch.
