Summer Beats Jonathan Who Drops 6th in a Row
Summer (2-6, 854.28 points) got the win over Jonathan (1-7, 765.92 points) 123.96 to 106.48, led by James Cook and his two touchdowns (111 Rsh Yds, 2 TD) with 28.30 points and Darnell Mooney (86 Rec Yds, 1 TD), who scored 18.60. Summer was first to put points on the board and went into Sunday with a 1.00 to 0.00 lead. That advantage disappeared by the end of the early Sunday games and they trailed by 3.92. However, following the late Sunday games, Summer regained the lead for good.
James Conner had plenty of chances for Summer, but he logged just 69 total yards on 22 touches.
Since Cook was the leading point-getter for Summer, it means a different player has now topped the team in each of the past five weeks. With 18.30 points, James Conner paced the squad in Week 4, while Joe Burrow put up 33.78 points to lead the way in Week 5. A.J.
