Brandon Gets Victory over Tua Touchdown, Takes Top Spot in League
Brandon (6-2, 1,063.06 points) claims first place in the league after beating Tua Touchdown (third place, 5-3, 1,022.80 points) 139.26 to 133.30. They also got the second-highest point total in the league this week. Even though both teams hit their projections, Brandon scored 13.8% more than their projected 122.34 points to secure the win. Josh Jacobs led Tua Touchdown with 25.50 points (127 Rsh Yds, 2 TD) while Baker Mayfield racked up 22.30 (330 Pas Yds, 3 TD/2 Int).
Chubb had plenty of opportunities for Tua Touchdown, but could only manage 52 total yards on 16 touches.
While Lamar Jackson led Brandon with 34.44 points in Week 7, Otton paced the squad this week with 29.10.
Brandon gets a challenge in Week 9 when they go up against stuart (4-4, 1,079.42), who averages a league-leading 134.93 points per game. Tua Touchdown squares off against Jonathan (1-7, 765.92), who sits in last place.
