Week 7 Recap: Tuesday Edition
Mowbray Misanthropes Smokes lexi, Claims 5th Place
With the tag team of Javonte Williams and Jalen Hurts carrying the team, Mowbray Misanthropes overwhelmed lexi 146.36 to 66.44. That tandem teamed up to record 48.86 points, winning the battle against Justin Jefferson and Cameron Dicker (40.40 combined points), the top two on lexi. Williams scored two touchdowns, accumulating 26.10 points (88 Rsh Yds, 2 TD). Hurts also came through with two touchdowns on his way to 22.76 points (114 Pas Yds, 1 Pas TD, 2 Rsh TD). Mowbray Misanthropes took a 37.70-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. This was a blockbuster of a beatdown, with the 79.92-point margin being the highest recorded in the league this season. These two teams are tied for fifth place with 4-3 records, but Mowbray Misanthropes has a clear lead in points, 835.56 to 764.72. To make matters worse, lexi had a starter score zero points (Courtland Sutton).
Along with being the one DEF to earn a negative score, the New York Jets DEF (on lexi) represented the lone starter in the whole league to do so.
