      Around The League
      • Cope has now beaten their projected score seven weeks in a row.
      • Gibby won this week, even without starting a top-15 scoring QB.
      • No surprise here: teams have won 63.6% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (7-4 overall).
      • TEAM HULK is on a three-game winning streak.
      • Cope probably wishes they had started Malik Nabers. The 36.10 points he scored would have represented the third-highest individual score this week.
      • Teams have won only 37.9% of the time this season (11-18) when they fail to throw a Pass TD.
      • Cope was favored by the widest margin in the league this week (13.15 points) and delivered with a 37.66-point victory.
      • Teams are now 20-18 overall when facing an opponent they previously lost to.

      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

TEAM HULK Beats jeremy, Takes League Championship

TEAM HULK beat jeremy 158.22 to 119.48 for their second win in as many head-to-head matchups. Their overall record goes to 12-5, while jeremy drops to 10-7. Tee Higgins scored three touchdowns and was the determining factor this week, putting up 40.10 points for TEAM HULK. The Cincinnati WR looks to be one of the best late-round picks for TEAM HULK, scoring an average of 19.35 points per game.

jeremy had one noticeable starter that let some chances slip away. Despite being targeted seven times, Terry McLaurin could only reel in one catch.

For the victors, Higgins is peaking during the playoffs. He has exceeded his season scoring average by 160% during the postseason run. On the other hand, TEAM HULK also has a player trending the opposite way, as Zach Charbonnet has fallen significantly short of his year-to-date average since the playoffs began. Despite the loss, jeremy had a few players performing their best in the playoffs, including DeVonta Smith and the Buffalo Bills DEF. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 20.55 and 13.50 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 82% and 73%. Conversely, the losers had a player who was sputtering under the brightest lights. Averaging 16.41 points on the season, Terry McLaurin mustered just 9.25 per game in the playoffs.

TEAM HULK concluded the regular season in second place with a record of 10-5. From a points per game perspective, they ranked slightly better (first with 143.49). In their only other postseason game on their path to the championship, TEAM HULK beat Evan, 139.98 to 121.48. They had the league's best average scoring margin this season, outpacing opponents by 19.60 points per game. jeremy finished the regular season in fourth place with a record of 9-6. When considering points per game, they ranked slightly better (third with 118.91). In their only other postseason game of the season, jeremy defeated Cope, 138.68 to 123.72.
