      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Team Yeet Gets Win Against Riboflvn Team 4, Will Play for Consolation Championship

Brian Thomas Jr. racked up 28.20 points and Sam Darnold added another 22.94 points with three passing touchdowns as Team Yeet beat Riboflvn Team 4 140.64 to 109.44. This matchup saw three lead changes, with the largest lead being the final margin. Team Yeet has played Riboflvn Team 4 well lately, improving to 2-1 head-to-head this season, including a Week 12 nailbiter (114.50 to 111.48) in their last matchup. Anthony Richardson led Riboflvn Team 4 with 20.24 points (131 Pas Yds, 70 Rsh Yds, 1 Pas TD/1 Int, 1 Rsh TD) while Kyren Williams brought in 19.90 (122 Rsh Yds, 1 TD).

There was a player on both teams that had plenty of chances but left some points out on the field. On the winning side, Travis Etienne got 11 touches but only tallied 37 total yards, while Isiah Pacheco managed just 26 yards on 10 touches for Riboflvn Team 4.

It wasn't all bad news for Riboflvn Team 4, as they did field a squad of real-life winners. Every starter except Malik Nabers suited up on a victorious NFL team this past week.

For the winners, a few players have been warming up at the right time, most notably Davante Adams and Jr. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 94% and 57%, respectively. On the other hand, Team Yeet has a player heading in the opposite direction. Kenneth Walker III has fallen significantly short of his year-to-date average recently. Despite the loss, Riboflvn Team 4 also had a couple of players peaking for the postseason: Richardson and Isiah Pacheco. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 17.19 and 5.80 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 68% and 57%. Conversely, the losers had two players who were fading down the stretch: Dalton Kincaid and Amari Cooper.

Next week, the league consolation championship will be decided when Team Yeet faces top-seeded Chan Storm. Team Yeet has a 1-1 record against Chan Storm this season. Riboflvn Team 4 wrapped up the regular season in seventh place with a record of 8-7. With a scoring average of 111.49, they also placed eighth in the league in that metric. Riboflvn Team 4 was bounced early this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
