Week 2 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Jonathan Beats Conner Cannons

Jonathan picked up 28.90 points from DK Metcalf (129 Rec Yds, 1 TD) and 20.60 from DeVonta Smith (76 Rec Yds, 1 TD) to beat Conner Cannons 123.44 to 104.80. Jonathan beat their projections and put up 12.0% more points than projected (110.18). Conner Cannons scored only 88.3% of a projected 118.65 points. Conner Cannons was led by James Cook with 28.50 points (78 Rsh Yds, 2 Rsh TD, 1 Rec TD) and Deebo Samuel Sr., who scored 18.00 (110 Rec Yds). Jonathan (2-0, 227.28 points) moves into third place and Conner Cannons (0-2, 229.46 points) winds up in eighth place.

There was one player on Jonathan that missed out on opportunities. Even though Amari Cooper saw a total of eight targets, he reeled in just three catches.

To go along with the fantasy victory, Jonathan was savvy enough to select winners in real football, as well. Among all of their starters, Smith was the only one whose NFL team lost in Week 2.

Next week, Jonathan plays Desert Diablos (0-2, 209.74), while Conner Cannons matches up with Sierra Hotel India (0-2, 202.96).
