      Around The League
      • Sophie has now beaten their projected score five weeks in a row.
      • RickS continues defying the pundits, and has beaten their projected score four weeks in a row.
      • Joshua tree won this week, even without starting a top-30 scoring WR.
      • Ivan is on an eight-game winning streak.
      • Unfortunately, Tensta Bears fell short of their projected score for the sixth straight week.
      • It's our year unfortunately stashed Jonathan Taylor on their bench. The 39.80 points would have represented the highest individual amount in the league this week.
      • Teams have won 54.3% of the time this season when they throw no interceptions in a week.
      • No surprise here: teams have won 77.8% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (7-2 overall).

      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Sophie Gets Victory over It's our year, Moves on to Consolation Championship

Sophie got 31.00 points from De'Von Achane (120 Rsh Yds, 70 Rec Yds, 1 TD) and 23.70 from A.J. Brown (97 Rec Yds, 1 TD) to get the win over It's our year 134.68 to 99.46. Sophie goes to 2-1 this season against It's our year, avenging a Week 14 loss (142.42 to 118.44) the last time the teams met. Keenan Allen led It's our year with 29.10 points (141 Rec Yds, 1 TD) while Justin Herbert brought in 22.16 (284 Pas Yds, 28 Rsh Yds, 1 2PT, 2 TD/1 Int). On top of the loss, It's our year had a starter score zero points (Isaac Guerendo).

Etienne had plenty of opportunities for It's our year, but could only manage 37 total yards on 11 touches.

For the winning side, Brown is warming up at the right time. Over the past four weeks, he has outperformed his season scoring average by 33%. Conversely, Sophie has a player trending the opposite way, as Dalton Kincaid has fallen significantly short of his year-to-date average recently. Despite the loss, It's our year also had a few players peaking for the postseason, including Isaac Guerendo and Allen. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 11.72 and 19.90 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 106% and 93%.

Next week, the league consolation championship will be decided when Sophie matches up against top-seeded Bruce. These teams last met in Week 7, with Bruce winning, 134.44 to 119.74. It's our year finished the regular season with a record of 7-8, good for sixth place. From a points per game perspective, they ranked slightly worse (seventh with 112.65). It's our year was one-and-done this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
