Stone Poney clinches a spot in the playoffs after taking down Auggies again, this time by a final score of 165.78 to 138.42. Their record improves to 10-4, while Auggies falls to 6-8. Josh Allen scored three touchdowns and was the reason for the win, getting 51.88 points for Stone Poney. The Buffalo QB has been a top performer throughout the season and, after his latest game, he moved into the top five overall in fantasy points. On top of the loss, Auggies had a starter score zero points (George Pickens).
De'Von Achane had plenty of chances for Stone Poney, but he logged just 69 total yards on 20 touches.
It wasn't all bad news for Auggies, as they did field a squad of real-life winners. Every starter except Adam Thielen played for an NFL team that won this week. Allen has now led Stone Poney in scoring in back-to-back weeks.
Stone Poney faces top-ranked Florida Seals (12-2, 1,973.62) next week. Auggies takes on Adirondacks Waffles (5-9, 1,501.34).
