PollonioFC Creeps By Stone Poney, Climbs to 7th Place
A comeback under the lights on Monday Night Football (51.62 points, 42% of their total score) wasn't enough for Stone Poney, despite the best efforts of Josh Allen (263 Pas Yds, 44 Rsh Yds, 4 TD) and Zack Moss (58 Rsh Yds, 39 Rec Yds, 1 TD), as PollonioFC got the 125.26 to 124.02 victory. The late-match efforts were a little unexpected, considering their original Monday projection was only 33.44 points. PollonioFC was led by Derrick Henry this week (151 Rsh Yds, 2 TD). The Baltimore RB rushed for 151 yards and added 30.40 points in the matchup. Malik Nabers also pitched in with 28.20 points with two touchdowns (78 Rec Yds, 2 TD). With Rashid Shaheed delivering zero points for PollonioFC, the margin could have been bigger. The 1.24-point win for PollonioFC was the smallest in the league this year, as well. PollonioFC (1-2, 315.84 points) climbs into seventh place, while Stone Poney (1-2, 414.96 points) stays in fifth place.
J.K. Dobbins had plenty of chances for PollonioFC, but he logged just 54 total yards on 18 touches.
