Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

RAMPAGE Beats ALOHA, Will Play for Championship

RAMPAGE defeated ALOHA 170.46 to 146.34 to improve their season record to 3-0 against them. They improve to 15-1, while ALOHA drops to 7-9. Brian Thomas Jr. (132 Rec Yds, 1 TD) was the determining factor this week, garnering 28.20 points. Jr., a 13th-round pick, remains a great late-round steal for RAMPAGE and has been a reason why they have owned the season matchup. In three matchups with ALOHA, RAMPAGE has a 36.88-point average margin of victory.

Miller had plenty of opportunities for ALOHA, but could only manage 31 total yards on 10 touches.

For the winners, several players have been warming up at the right time, including the Atlanta Falcons DEF and Mike Evans. Over the past four weeks, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 176% and 65%, respectively. Despite the playoff loss, Jared Goff was playing well during the stretch run for ALOHA. Over the last four games, he has averaged 26.34 points, exceeding his year-to-date number by 40%.

RAMPAGE steamrolled into the playoffs following a steadily superb regular season. Next week, the league championship will be decided when RAMPAGE goes up against No. 3-seeded Panhead Mike. RAMPAGE is undefeated against Panhead Mike in two matchups this season, with their last win coming in Week 10. ALOHA ended the regular season in fourth place with a record of 7-8. In terms of scoring average, they ranked slightly better (second with 127.68). ALOHA was sent home quickly this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
