The Stooges Steals Win from Adirondacks All Stars, Moves to 5th Place
The Stooges got 29.70 points from Courtland Sutton (97 Rec Yds, 2 TD) and 20.70 from Puka Nacua (117 Rec Yds), defeating Adirondacks All Stars 118.96 to 111.50. The Stooges came into the Sunday night game facing a 13.50-point deficit, but scored 35.76 for the comeback victory. This was a back-and-forth battle that saw the lead change hands three times, with the largest lead being 27.80 points after Sunday afternoon. The Stooges goes to 1-1 this season against Adirondacks All Stars, avenging a Week 3 loss (126.96 to 95.14) the last time the teams met. The Stooges (5-7, 1,343.54 points) climbs into fifth place and Adirondacks All Stars (7-5, 1,464.28 points) drops to third place.
On The Stooges, the San Francisco 49ers DEF wasn't just the one D to tally a negative score; they represented the lone fantasy starter throughout the entire league in negative territory. J.K. Dobbins probably deserved more touches for Adirondacks All Stars, as he put up an efficient 59 all-purpose yards on just nine total touches. One position where Adirondacks All Stars really made a regrettable decision is running back. Nick Chubb could have started in place of Christian McCaffrey, and that point difference would've ultimately changed the outcome.
