      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Led by a Big Game from De'Von Achane, Red's Cowboys Secures Spot in Consolation Championship

With the contribution from De'Von Achane playing an integral role, Red's Cowboys picked up a win against Billy 144.50 to 118.24. Achane exploded for 31.00 points in a 26.26-point victory for Red's Cowboys. In addition to Achane (120 Rsh Yds, 70 Rec Yds, 1 TD), A.J. Brown (97 Rec Yds, 1 TD) pitched in with 23.70 points. With 144.50 points, Red's Cowboys had their top total of the season.

Pacheco had plenty of opportunities for Billy, but could only manage 26 total yards on 10 touches.

It wasn't all bad news for Billy, as they did field a team of real-life winners. Every starter except Jake Moody played for an NFL team that won in Week 16.

For the winners, a pair of players have been getting hot at the right time: Zach Charbonnet and Brown. Over the past four games, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 44% and 33%, respectively. Despite the loss, Billy had a couple of players peaking for the postseason: Sam LaPorta and Terry McLaurin. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 14.60 and 22.95 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 59% and 40%.

Next week, the league consolation championship will be decided when Red's Cowboys faces No. 4-seeded Bless Your Heart. Red's Cowboys is winless against Bless Your Heart in two matchups this season, with their most recent loss coming in Week 14. Billy ended the regular season in sixth place with a record of 7-8. They also ranked sixth in the league with 112.93 points per game. Billy was bounced early this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
