      Week 9 Recap: Tuesday Edition

      Paneendra babu Beats Michael

This week's two highest-scoring teams met in an epic battle as Paneendra babu beat Michael 162.94 to 153.10. This is the most a team has scored this season without getting a victory. The loss drops Michael to 7-2 (2nd place) and ends their two-game winning streak. The final score was unexpected given that Paneendra babu was only projected to score 116.22 points and Michael was expected to score 116.81 points. Zay Flowers (127 Rec Yds, 2 TD) put up 29.70 points and Joe Burrow (251 Pas Yds, 5 TD/1 Int) scored 29.14 points, exceeding their projections by 116.3% and 59.2%, respectively. Garrett Wilson (90 Rec Yds, 2 TD) got 30.00 points to score 103.7% more than projected (14.73) for Michael. Although emerging victorious this time, Paneendra babu has been on the losing end of a similar high-scoring matchup once before, suffering a tough loss against Guatemalan Saints in Week 3, 154.08 to 144.96.

On Paneendra babu, the Denver Broncos DEF wasn't just the one DEF to post a negative score; they represented the only fantasy starter throughout the entire league in the negatives. Additionally, they had a starter that let some chances slip through his hands. Even though Dalton Kincaid saw a total of 10 targets, he reeled in just four catches. A position where Michael is really kicking themselves is running back. J.K. Dobbins could have started in place of James Cook, and that point difference would have been enough to secure the victory.

While Derrick Henry led Paneendra babu with 14.70 points in Week 8, Flowers paced the squad this week with 29.70. In addition to the fantasy W, Paneendra babu was savvy enough to choose winners in real football, too. The Denver D is the only starter that wasn't part of a winning effort this week.

Paneendra babu will face Steven Ed (4-5, 953.64) next week. Michael plays Carlos (0-9, 871.84), who sits in last place.
