Sam Beats Squatters, Moves Up to 6th Place
Sam registered the second-highest score this season and beat Squatters 161.02 to 131.88. Sam took a 48.40-point lead on Thursday and maintained an advantage throughout the matchup. Sam gets revenge for a Week 4 loss (140.90 to 126.72) and improves to 1-1 this season against Squatters. Joe Mixon (acquired via trade in Week 7) has been a key addition for Sam, ranking third among running backs over the last four weeks. Sam (6-7, 1,576.08 points) climbs into sixth place and Squatters (7-6, 1,488.80 points) drops to fifth place.
Since Bowers was the top point-getter for Sam, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 29.68 points, Jalen Hurts paced the squad in Week 10, while Joe Mixon (35.30 points) was tops in Week 11 and DJ Moore (26.90 points) in Week 12.
