Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Chuba Hubbard rushed for 152 yards (32.50 points) and Kyler Murray added 20.38 points as Madmen defeated Los Hijos 105.48 to 98.56. Madmen goes to 1-2 this season against Los Hijos, avenging a Week 12 loss (116.92 to 107.80) the last time the teams met. Los Hijos was led by Justin Herbert with 22.16 points (284 Pas Yds, 28 Rsh Yds, 1 2PT, 2 TD/1 Int) and Amon-Ra St. Brown, who scored 19.00 (70 Rec Yds, 1 TD). Los Hijos got zero points from Younghoe Koo, which might have made the difference in the outcome.
For Madmen, the 49ers Defense wasn't just the lone D to earn a negative score; they represented the only fantasy starter throughout the whole league in negative territory. Isiah Pacheco had lots of looks for Madmen, but could manage just 26 total yards on 10 touches. One slot where Los Hijos wishes they could get a re-do is wide receiver. Zay Flowers could have started in place of Cooper Kupp, and that point difference would've altered the outcome.
It wasn't all bad news for Los Hijos, as they did field a squad of real-life winners. Every starter except Najee Harris suited up for an NFL team that won in Week 16.
For the winners, Davante Adams is playing his best at the right time. Over the past month, he has exceeded his season scoring average by 94%.
Next week, the league consolation championship will be decided when Madmen goes up against No. 4-seeded Antinatural. Madmen has a 1-1 record against Antinatural this season. Los Hijos finished the regular season with a record of 6-9, good for sixth place. When considering points per game, they ranked slightly worse (eighth with 107.21). Los Hijos was bounced early this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
