      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Bulls on Parade Brings Down Glassman's Broncos for League Championship

Bulls on Parade logged the second-highest score of the week, taking down Glassman's Broncos 151.02 to 132.98. A primetime rally on Sunday Night Football (33.28 SNF points, 25% of their final score) wasn't meant to be for Glassman's Broncos. Bulls on Parade took a 33.92-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. Bulls on Parade goes to 1-2 this season against Glassman's Broncos, avenging a Week 12 loss (124.90 to 98.58) the last time the teams met. Malik Nabers racked up the third-highest score of the league this week with 36.10 points (171 Rec Yds, 2 TD) for Glassman's Broncos.

Glassman's Broncos had one important starter that let some chances slip away. Despite being targeted seven times, Terry McLaurin could only reel in one catch. One position where Glassman's Broncos made a blunder is wide receiver. Xavier Worthy could have started in place of Terry McLaurin, and that point difference would have been enough to earn the win.

For the winning team, two players have been playoff studs : Jonathan Taylor and Mike Evans. During the playoffs, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 163% and 62%, respectively. On the other hand, Bulls on Parade has several players moving in the wrong direction. Chris Boswell and the Minnesota Vikings DEF have both substantially underperformed their year-to-date averages during the postseason. Despite the loss, Glassman's Broncos also had a few players performing their best in the playoffs, most notably Nabers and Jayden Daniels. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 24.95 and 33.10 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 70% and 55%. Conversely, the losers had a player who was sputtering under the brightest lights. Averaging 16.41 points on the season, McLaurin mustered just 9.25 per game in the playoffs.

Bulls on Parade finished the regular season in second place with a record of 10-5. When considering points per game, they ranked slightly better (first with 141.08). In their only other postseason game along the way to winning the trophy, Bulls on Parade took down Munze KOnza, 158.28 to 119.64. They had the league's best average scoring margin this season, outpacing opponents by 22.34 points per game. Glassman's Broncos ended the regular season in fourth place with a record of 10-5. They also ranked fourth in the league with 129.56 points per game. In their only other postseason game of the season, Glassman's Broncos defeated Belgian Beer Bellies, 135.32 to 107.56. They distributed their fair share of big losses this year, as they recorded four blowout victories on the season.
