      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

the Picking Pickles Beats M-66 and Stays Undefeated in the Series

the Picking Pickles beat M-66 135.14 to 119.58 for their second win in as many head-to-head matchups. Their overall record goes to 10-7, while M-66 drops to 9-8. Justin Herbert passed for three touchdowns and was the key player this week, garnering 24.44 points for the Picking Pickles. The Los Angeles Chargers QB has been a good post-draft pickup for the Picking Pickles, averaging 16.09 on the season.

In addition to the fantasy victory, the Picking Pickles was savvy enough to pick winners in real-life football, as well. Among all of their starters, Rico Dowdle is the only one whose NFL team lost in Week 17.

For the victors, a few players have been getting hot in the playoffs, including Jake Elliott and T.J. Hockenson. During the playoffs, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 84% and 72%, respectively. Despite the loss, M-66 had two players performing their best in the playoffs: Tyjae Spears and the Buffalo Bills DEF. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 17.45 and 13.50 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 161% and 73%. On the other hand, the losers had a player who was sputtering under the brightest lights. Averaging 23.74 points on the season, Josh Allen mustered just 17.07 per game in the playoffs.
