      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

gonzo Gets Late Victory over hs1

Down 2.58 on Monday night, gonzo came back to beat hs1 102.80 to 95.38. gonzo got 19.50 points from Tyreek Hill (105 Rec Yds) and 19.00 from the Philadelphia Eagles DEF (7 PA, 1 TD, 1 Sack, 2 Int, 2 Fum). gonzo goes to 1-2 this season against hs1, avenging a Week 15 pasting (173.48 to 90.66) the last time the teams met. hs1 was led by Josh Allen with 22.98 points (182 Pas Yds, 2 Pas TD, 1 Rsh TD) and Jordan Addison, who scored 18.90 (69 Rec Yds, 1 TD). With Hunter Henry delivering zero points for gonzo, the outcome could have been worse.

Mattison had plenty of opportunities for hs1, but could only manage 38 total yards on 11 touches. One slot where hs1 wishes they could go back and change the past is WR. Jerry Jeudy could have started in place of Nico Collins, and that point difference would've been enough to change the outcome.

Despite the playoff loss, Addison was playing well in the postseason for hs1. During that stretch, he has averaged 16.70 points, exceeding his year-to-date number by 30%. On the other hand, the losers had a player who fell flat on the biggest stage. Averaging 23.74 points on the season, Allen tallied 17.07 per game in the playoffs.
