AppleBottomGenos had the highest overall score in the league this year, as well as the third-biggest margin of victory.
Along with being the one defense to tally a negative score, the Indianapolis Colts DEF (on ONE SHOT ONE KILL) represented the only starter in the whole league in the red.
AppleBottomGenos was ahead of the curve with their wideouts, as they started two of the league's top-three overall WRs this week. Additionally, with 12 targets this week for Higgins, it means that his targets have now increased in three consecutive games.
For the winning side, several players have been postseason stars, most notably the Cincinnati WR and Nabers. During the playoffs, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 160% and 70%, respectively. Conversely, AppleBottomGenos has a player heading in the opposite direction. Breece Hall has substantially underperformed his year-to-date average in the postseason by 30%. Despite the loss, ONE SHOT ONE KILL had a few players performing their best in the playoffs, including Deebo Samuel Sr. and Brock Purdy. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 17.10 and 25.70 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 78% and 63%.
AppleBottomGenos finished the regular season in sixth place with a record of 7-8. Better than their record indicated, they ranked third in the league in points per game with 121.27. In their only other postseason game on their trek to a consolation title, AppleBottomGenos snuck by KC Gal, 121.82 to 119.00. ONE SHOT ONE KILL concluded the regular season with a record of 8-7, good for fifth place. When considering points per game, they ranked slightly worse (sixth with 117.08). In their only other postseason game of the season, ONE SHOT ONE KILL took down Hogan's Heroes, 161.22 to 135.78.
