GeoBigBlue turned in a strong primetime performance with 24.80 points on Sunday Night Football and 32.90 on Monday (a combined 44% of their total score) to slip by Go Pack Go 130.00 to 127.00. The late heroics were a bit unexpected, since they were projected to have just 17.58 points on Sunday night and only 28.24 on Monday. GeoBigBlue was led by Patrick Mahomes this week (320 Pas Yds, 3 TD). Mahomes passed for 320 yards and added 26.00 points in the matchup. Bijan Robinson also helped out with 24.80 points with two touchdowns (90 Rsh Yds, 2 TD). Also, the 3.00-point win for GeoBigBlue was the eighth-slimmest in the league this year.
For the winners, several players have been late-season stars, including Jake Elliott and the Buffalo Bills DEF. During the playoffs, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 84% and 73%, respectively. Conversely, GeoBigBlue has a player heading in the opposite direction. Rome Odunze has substantially underperformed his year-to-date average in the postseason by 34%.
