Final Score 118.84 | 108.46 |
Kirk Cousins passed for four touchdowns (28.64 points) and Terry McLaurin added 17.50 points as Pasto 3 took down Delaware Dillas 118.84 to 108.46. Delaware Dillas beat their projections and scored 16.2% more than their projected 93.30 points, while Pasto 3 just fell short of hitting their projections and put up 99.9% of a projected 118.96. Delaware Dillas was led by DeVonta Smith with 20.50 points (85 Rec Yds, 1 TD) and Zay Flowers, who scored 18.50 (115 Rec Yds). Delaware Dillas got zero points from DK Metcalf, which might have made the difference in the outcome. Pasto 3 (2-6, 904.08 points) climbs into eighth place and Delaware Dillas (2-6, 882.88 points) drops to ninth place.
Kenneth Walker III had plenty of chances for Pasto 3, but he logged just 45 total yards on 13 touches. One slot where Delaware Dillas really made a regrettable choice is quarterback. Patrick Mahomes could have started in place of Jordan Love, and that point difference would've altered the outcome.
Since Cousins was the leading point-getter for Pasto 3, it means a different player has now topped the team in each of the past five weeks. With 33.60 points, Kenneth Walker III paced the squad in Week 4, while Drake London put up 33.40 points to lead the way in Week 5. Garrett Wilson (24.70 points) was tops in Week 6 and Breece Hall (26.10 points) led last week.
Next week, Pasto 3 goes up against BT Cardinals (1-7, 866.26), the last-place team in the league. Delaware Dillas gets ABQ III (4-4, 938.42).
It was a season high in yards receiving for McLaurin this week, as he snagged five catches for 125 yards.
Wilson made five catches for a season-high 113 yards.
This week was the third time this season Flowers has eclipsed 100 yards receiving, as he put up seven catches for 115 yards.
With 11.00 points, Hopkins tallied the eighth-highest score for a K this week.
The 49ers Defense (24 PA, 2 Sack, 2 Int) scored 6.00 points, the 10th-highest score of any DEF in the league this week.
The 12.00 points scored by Seibert this week was good enough to rank sixth among Ks.
