Week 6 Recap: Tuesday Edition
Jessie Beats Up Noobers, Moves Up to 5th Place
Jessie got 24.10 points from Brock Purdy (255 Pas Yds, 3 TD) and 22.40 from Zay Flowers (132 Rec Yds) to demolish Noobers 122.50 to 78.26. Jessie took a 33.30-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. Noobers has now lost four straight matchups. Jordan Mason (acquired via free agency in Week 0) has been a key addition for Jessie, ranking ninth among running backs over the last four weeks. On top of the loss, Noobers had two starters score zero points (Kyren Williams and Rachaad White). Jessie (4-2, 679.14 points) climbs into fifth place and Noobers (2-4, 646.72 points) stays in seventh place.
Jordan Mason really deserved more touches for Jessie, as he put up a whopping 82 total yards on just 10 touches.
To go along with the fantasy victory, Jessie was savvy enough to select winners in real-life football, as well. Among all of their starters, Tony Pollard is the only one whose NFL team lost in Week 6. Since Purdy was the leading point-getter for Jessie, it means a different player has now topped the team in each of the past five weeks. With 17.40 points, Jordan Mason paced the squad in Week 2, while Aaron Jones put up 25.80 points to lead the way in Week 3. Jayden Reed (27.10 points) was tops in Week 4 and Zay Flowers (19.00 points) led in Week 5.
